BILLY Davies has insisted there will no more players going out of Deepdale on 'emergency loans' ahead of Thursday's deadline.
The North End boss has sent midfielders Eric Skora and Dickson Etuhu to Walsall and Norwich respectively in the last week.
Skora is set to spend a month at the Bescot Stadium while Etuhu is at Carrow Road until the new year. A permanent deal for Etuhu to stay with the Canaries seems likely.
North End are searching for their own emergency loans to bring in. Extending Blackburn Rovers striker Jemal Johnson's one month spell is a possibility.
But Davies told the club's website: "We are only looking to bring in players, but it is not easy.
"Many clubs want to keep on to their best players but we are continuing to look at all options."
