DICKSON ETUHU has agreed a two-month loan deal to Norwich City - but is already talking as though he will be there for good.
The 23-year-old joined ex-Blackpool boss Nigel Worthington's Canaries on Friday afternoon.
The former Manchester City youngster - David Moyes' last signing before leaving Deepdale for Everton - has scored twice for North End this season.
But despite putting in some good performances, his chances to start have been limited by the arrival of on-loan midfielder David Jones from Manchester United and perennial star Paul McKenna.
Speaking on his arrival at Carrow Road, Etuhu said: "I feel I have joined a big club with ambition and it will good to get out and play some football.
"I am coming to give that extra power and strength in the middle of the park, which I love to do, up and down, and I can't wait to get on the pitch.
"I just can't wait to get out on the training pitches and meet my new team-mates."
North End have confirmed that the two month deal is 'with a view to something permanent'.
And if Worthington's own comments are anything to go by, the loan deal is merely a formality before a longer-term contract is agreed.
He said: "He's got good energy, he can tackle and score goals. I'm delighted we have got him and hopefully he will give us some extra bite in midfield.
"He's a player we have tracked for quite a while now and it was just a case of being patient."
Etuhu's future at Deepdale has been in doubt all season - the rumour mill had it that he would move to Everton before the transfer window snapped shut in September.
