If we are to follow the guidelines set by the Ulema of Dar-Ul-Ifta then we single women wont meet anyone.
I felt the article failed to recognise the modern day problems many single women go through. If our family members cannot act as walis then who will? It explained a lot but failed to answer the main question.
I have been to some of these singles events and although I did not find them particularly helpful in my case I commend them. What would the Ulema have us single women do? We have to get married according to Islam. But how if our fellow Muslim brothers do not help us?
