I'M writing about the article in the LET on October 20 about parking at the new Darwen Health Centre.
I've already written to PCT director of corporate and development, Mr David Brunskill, about the big problem we have parking our cars at the new health centre.
I've also brought the problem up at quite a few meetings of the Darwen Health Centre Advisory Group as I've always said there would not be enough parking spaces or disabled spaces.
I would also like to let Coun Dave Hollings know that he was wrong to say that parking was not raised as a major concern when plans were approved. Not only I but a few others have always said that there wouldn't be enough parking spaces at the new health centre.
I would also like to point out that there is also a problem with people parking in the disabled spaces who are not disabled. They should know better. I do hope something can be done asap.
A D GORDON (Mr), Brighton Terrace, Darwen.
