GHOST walker Simon Entwistle is set to become a regular face on television after producers labelled him a super "natural."
The Colne-born 50-year-old has been scaring people for 10 years while they visit East Lancashire's haunted hot-spots.
Renowned for his popular ghost walks, Simon tells tales of bringing the paranormal back to life in six-part Granada TV series, 'Into The Unknown'.
With more than 30 ghost stories under his belt, Simon will be presenting the programme on North West myths and legends, starting tonight.
And producers have hinted that if viewing figures are good they will be asking Simon back for a second series.
Simon, of Littlemoor Road, Clitheroe, said they also told him to expect calls from other TV companies once the show was aired after dubbing him a 'natural'.
His route to TV fame began when the Manchester-based series' producers happened to walk in on a ghost tour he was giving at Samlesbury Hall.
Impressed with his story-telling, they signed him up to front the show, which will feature the 14th century hall, said to be haunted.
And it was there where Simon said the one paranormal event happened when the camera crew had left after an evening filming.
He said: "I was running back to my car at about 2am.
"It is very eerie up there. And you get a funny feeling while you're there. I suddenly fell over, broke my glasses and my mobile phone.
"I had hit an obstacle. I got up gathered myself together but there was nothing there. That was strange. And I was alone."
A Ribble Valley Council groundsman, Simon started giving ghost walks around Clitheroe Castle in 1996 after being inspired by a similar tour he enjoyed in York. He now also leads walks around Whalley, Blackburn and Accrington.
Venues featured in the series include Smithills Hall and Hall i' th' Wood, both in Bolton, and Levens Hall near Kendal.
Made by Manchester-based Dreamscope Productions, the half-hour shows reveal historical facts and supernatural stories about each venue.
Sara Satti, of Dreamscope, said: "Simon is perfect for this. He has the history at his fingertips and is a great story-teller."
Into The Unknown starts on ITV1 tonight at 7.30pm and the Samlesbury Hall episode is at the same time on Thursday, November 24.
