CHORLEY golfer Nick Dougherty is in a three-way tie for the lead at the HSBC Champions Tournament in Shanghai.
Dougherty ended his fine day's work in real style, hitting a four-iron to within six feet of the hole for an eagle and an eight-under 64.
That put himinto a share of the lead with Australian Peter O'Malley and Scot Paul Lawrie.
Tiger Woods grabbed a spectacular 10 birdies but still found himself only in joint fourth place a shot behind the leaders after the opening round.
