TWO people were stabbed in a mass brawl at a Burnley garage early today.
A fight broke out by the Spar shop at Kitchen's filling station, Trafalgar Street, just after 1am.
Two men were stabbed in the disturbance and taken to Burnley General Hospital.
Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Police said both victims were from the Burnley area.
A 25-year-old man from Burnley, and two others aged 28 and 23 from Accrington, were arrested by police. They were due to be questioned by detectives today.
This morning an area of the forecourt by the shop at the Total petrol station next to Kitchen's Renault dealership was sealed off and a police officer was guarding the scene.
The petrol station was still open.
Scenes of crime officers were due to visit the site today to carry out a forensic examination of the scene.
Police said the investigation was at an early stage and they would be carrying out further inquiries to establish the circumstances of the brawl.
Detective Inspector Sam Birtwell said the disturbance did not involve any employees of the 24 hour garage.
He said: "There has been an incident where there has been some sort of fight at the garage.
"We have three people in custody and two people are being treated in hospital for injuries. It is nothing to do with the garage."
Anyone with information about the incident should contact Burnley CID on 01282 472144.
