REMEMBER, Remember the fifth of November - gunpowder, treason and Blackburn Rovers!
When Mark Hughes' men take the field to face Charlton Athletic today it will be 130 years to the day since John Lewis and Arthur Constantine held a meeting at the St Leger Hotel in King William Street and Blackburn Rovers were born.
Seventeen men attended and they voted unanimously to form a club and ever since they have been plotting the downfall of opponents up and down the land.
So let's hope for fireworks Messers Lewis and Constantine would be proud of and not the kind the ones Guido Fawkes and his mates were after in 1604,
