Leading Irish folk band Dervish will be visiting Lancashire as part of their rare tour of England. Catch them in Burnley on November 7.
It is now 5 years since the Sligo-based band - who mix both traditional and contemporary songs - have played a major series of dates in England.
In the meantime they have continued to record and tour in Ireland, Europe and the United States, even playing dates in China, Israel and Brazil.
Dervish combine vibrant, dynamic sets of jigs and reels with guitar, fiddle, flute, bouzouki, mandola, bodhran and accordion ensuring there is plenty of firepower to back up lead singer Cathy Jordan.
Dervish play the Mechanics in Burnley on Monday, November 7. Tickets are £12.50/£11.50 in Morecambe and £12.50/£11 in Burnley.
