Prog rock star Greg Lake, formerly of King Crimson and supergroup Emerson, Lake And Palmer - is bringing his new six-piece band to Preston on November 14.
Dorset-born Lake will be at the Guild Hall to explore his four-decade career as part of his first UK tour for ten years.
Lake made a name for himself in a series of London-based club bands, including The Shame and Shy Limbs. In 1968, he formed the experimental King Crimson with guitar virtuoso Robert Fripp.
When the band split in 1970, he joined forces with ex-Nice keyboardist Keith Emerson and Arthur Brown's former drummer Carl Palmer. Emerson, Lake And Palmer went on to sell 40 million records.
In the last few years, Lake has toured with Beatle Ringo Starr and played a one-off concert with The Who's Roger Daltrey.
Greg Lake plays the Guild Hall in Preston on Monday, November 14. Tickets are £21-£23 - call the box office on 01772 258858
