THE finishing touches are being applied to a £2.7million bowling complex due to open later this month.
The grand opening of Bowplex, opening inside the new leisure development behind Blackburn Railway Station, is planned for November 21.
Dorset-based Bowlplex claims the new venue will bring new family entertainment to Blackburn
Bowlplex commercial director, Marena Hyatt said: "Work on the Bowlplex centre is now coming to an end with all 24 bowling lanes installed.
"Peel Leisure & Entertainment Park is the perfect location for our vibrant company. It is centrally located and close to many other leisure amenities.
It has all the secondary facilities that we demand, such as plenty of car parking space and easy access by car and public transport.
"Bowlplex will be a dynamic addition to the complex and satisfy the entertainment needs, not just for families, but also for work colleagues and friends."
The 25,000 sq. ft building will house Bowlplex's various leisure facilities including 24 bowling lanes, late licensed Sports Bar, grill, Video World offering a range of fun computer technology, an American Pool Pit and DJ and dance floor every Friday and Saturday night.
The 10-screen Cinema also opening on the site, and run by Vue Cinemas, shows its first film on November 18.
