Burnley will appeal against James O'Connor's red card, which could land the midfielder a three-match ban following a clash with Millwall's Jody Morris, who was also sent off.
"I cannot see how it is a sending off and I saw the referee afterwards and he said he will look at it again," insisted manager Steve Cotterill.
"James is distraught that he could miss three games because he plays 45 games a year and his exemplary record needs to be taken into consideration because I can't see what he has done."
