Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has escaped any further punishment from the Football Association following his 'sending off' at Chelsea on Saturday.
Hughes was banished to the stand by referee Mike Riley after he kicked a medical bag out of frustration during the second half of Rovers' 4-2 defeat.
The FA have the option in such situations to charge managers with misconduct, but it has since been decided that Riley's action was punishment enough so Hughes has avoided a fine and a touchline ban.
That news will come as a welcome relief to the Welshman, who prior to the weekend had never been 'sent off' before in his managerial career.
