WELL done Blackburn Transport! You leave the old No 9 bus route entirely without a bus for a few weeks and then, after pressure, you provide a meagre service and the predictable reaction is "well it's better than nothing." Congratulations on your strategy.
This present loop service tagged on to the 8B route consists of five hourly buses daily between 10.15am and 2.15pm from the town centre. We cannot get into town before 10.55am or back from town after 2.15pm.
There are no buses on Saturday or Sunday and we are still under threat of 'use it or lose it.'
Better than none it may be, but it is still not good enough, Users of other non-viable routes take note.
