Brian Jensen and Danny Coyne alternated between the posts for Burnley before the Welsh number one was sidelined by injury.
But Jensen, who now has the gloves all to himself, knows the pressure lies with him to dovetail with an ever-changing defence and keep Burnley on the up with a win at home to bottom club Millwall tonight.
The Dane insisted: "Up until the Hull game last Friday I haven't had to make many saves in recent weeks, so it's nice to contribute a little bit to the team and hopefully that will kick-start us again.
"We're in the top half for the first time this season, so it's happy days. In this division, if you get organised, you can grind out the results.
"We got a couple of results against Wolves and Leicester and then we slipped a little bit, so we still need to be more consistent.
"We know we weren't at our best against Hull, but we still got the result so hopefully we can build from here."
