PAKISTAN skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq is confident the squad that has been selected for the first two Test matches against England is capable of beating the Ashes winners.
After a practice match at the Gaddafi Stadium, Inzamam confirmed that all decisions relating to squad selection were taken with his and coach Bob Woolmer's consent.
He explained that the team included three specialist spinners and a good number of fast bowlers so Pakistan were equipped with all kinds of bowling for the different pitches being prepared for the series.
And he does not consider Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi as spinners because they are all-rounders.
The three specialist spinners are Mushtaq Ahmad, Danish Kaneria and Arshad Khan.
"We have good spinners for spin wickets and fast bowlers for fast tracks so Pakistan is strong in this department," Inzamam said.
The first Test of the three-match series starts on November 12 in Multan.
