MORECAMBE lifeboatmen are going down - in a joint fundraiser with Bowland Pennine mountain rescue team.
They are joining forces for a sponsored abseil down Lancaster's Ashton Memorial in October and are looking for volunteers to take part.
A deposit of £25 is needed, with all proceeds will go towards ensuring rescues on land or sea.
