AS A MOTHER of five daughters, four of whom are between the ages of 13 to 18 years, I and other parents have been told by our children that they have all had their names and addresses taken.
All they were doing was sitting on a wall in their own street, where myself and all other parents, if looking out of their front door, could see that they were causing no trouble.
There is a summer workshop in the Ewood area for ages eight to 12 years, but most of the children in this area are older and there is nothing for them to do.
I certainly would not like my daughters in this day and age to go on the field. They were also apparently told they could go into town to the cinema and ice skating. Well I certainly can't afford that every night.
What are kids supposed to do? I want my kids where I can see them.
