WITH England now facing its greatest security threat since 1940 may I suggest the setting up of some kind of national patriotic committee to bring to account the quislings in our midst?
I am not talking about terrorists -- the police and security services can deal with those.
It is the people who constantly denigrate England, its history, heritage, culture, traditions, institutions and flag.
They now seem to infest almost every area of our national life.
No country is above criticism, but these people have just gone too far.
To those who think the above proposal is extreme, may I suggest they remember the words of Barry Goldwater (the Republican presidential candidate in the United States election in 1964): "Extremism in defence of liberty is no vice."
