AT long last, the government has awakened to the presence of vile insurgents who have invaded our country, be they British or foreign.

The idea that they should be charged and tried for High Treason is long overdue.

It is a great sadness that it took so many innocent lives to prompt our so-called guardians to get real.

The fact that one of the suspects has already fled the country proves the need for the rapid re-introduction of this ancient law.

I suggest that to satisfy the public and media need for sensationalism the death sentence be re-introduced for treachery with the hangings televised live.
