After a couple of near misses, Oldhams Untouchables finally came good in Lancashire.
They beat off stiff competition on a day of high drama to win the McBride sponsored Cricket tournament held at Towneley Park in Burnley.
In the final their score of 89 off 8 overs proved too much for Nelsons Whitefield who after a strong start couldnt keep pace with the required run rate.
Ten teams turned out to compete in the tournament which was organised by members of the Pendle District League. They included, Burnley Muslims, Afghan C, Middlesbrough CC, Babus XI (Rochdale), Bradley Boys (Nelson), Rochdale Boys and Azad Kashmir (Blackburn).
