THERE was good news for medical students training at hospitals in Morecambe Bay this week as pass rates were top notch.
Hospitals around the country are ranked by the University of Liverpool on the grades secured by students - and the Royal Lancaster Infirmary has landed second place.
RLI was given a joint position with Kendal's Westmorland General Hospital while Furness General hospital in Barrow came first.
Chief executive Ian Cumming called the results 'a significant achievement' for the Primary Care Trust.
