LOWERHOUSE'S Jonny Russell threw the Lancashire League title race wide open with a superb 7-36 as his side beat Ramsbottom to join them at the top of the table.
Russell's superb spell helped skittle the league leaders for just 75 and even the return of Murali Kartik couldn't help Ramsbottom slide to a six-wicket defeat.
Lowerhouse pro Andrew McDonald eased his side to victory with 39 not out.
Colne are still in with a shout after beating East Lancs in a match that saw over 500 runs scored.
Colne pro Mahendra Nagamootoo scored a superb 125 in his side's massive total of 262-8. East Lancs' sup pro Gusham Bodi took 3-61.
Mark Lomas made 81 in the East Lancs reply but six wickets from Ali saw Colne take a 14-run win.
Accrington took their second win on the bounce, and only their second of the season, as they beat champions Haslingden.
It looked an unlikely scenario when Steve Dearden ripped out the top order and then Pasan Wanasinghe had Stuart Crabtree lbw to leave Accrington laguishing on 54-4.
But Matt Wilson made 27 before having to retire hurt with with a back injury but a career best 46 from Adam Wilson helped Accrington to 180.
Graham Knowles made 59 at the top of the Haslingden reply but a superb 6-68 from Zaheer Afzal and four wickets for Tama Canning helped Accrington take the win.
Keith Roscoe took his 50 league wicket of the season but it wasn't enough to give Rawtenstall and win over Church.
Roscoe took 5-59 as Church made 175-9 thanks to 45 from Pro Ruvin Peiris, 35 from Sam Holt and 37 from Mark Aspin.
Sub pro Ian Mitchell got the Rawtenstall innings off to a good start with 35 but they were eventually dismissed for just 154 as Nick Westwell, Andrew Bentley and Peiris all took three wickets apiece.
Rishton and Todmorden served up another classic with Tod again coming out on top at Centre Vale.
Gyan Pandey was the star of the show as he hit 51 in his side's 155. Skipper Stuart Priestley hit 46.
Pandey then took 5--38 as Rishton ended up just three runs short.
Nelson and Bacup had to share the points in a tied match at Seedhill.
David Ormerod took 7-36 as Nelson were skittled for just 84.
But then Nathan Hauritz took five wickets and and Danny Kegg four as Bacup were also bowled out for 84.
Burnley had a convincing win at Turf Moor as they beat Enfield by 89 runs.
Andy Mcleod was Burnley's hero with the bat as he hit 85 in Burnley's 210.
Steve Brunt gave good support with 34 witn Jonathan Clare making 43 at the top of the innings.
But Only Alviro Petersen made any impact with the bat. His 62 was one of only three double figure scores as Enfield were bowled out for 121.
Burnley pro Jonathan Harvey was the pick of the Burnley bowling with 4-42.
