IT is time for the government to recognise that non-smokers have rights too, writes Kate Alley (LET, July 25), of the proposed smoking ban in pubs.
May I suggest Ms Alley brush aside her disgust for a moment and speak to a smoker about these myriad privileges I infer they enjoy?
Perhaps then she will be qualified enough on the subject of civil liberties to avoid such laughable statements as the above.
