Budding basketball players will get the chance to slam dunk their way to success in a tournament at Moor Park, Garstang Road, Preston, on Saturday.
The competition, organised by Preston Pride Basketball Club, Preston City Council and Lancashire Sport, will use a variation of the popular sport, Streetball 3-on-3, which involves teams of three players.
It is open to under 14s, under 16s and under 18s categories.
It will run from 10am with registration at 9.30am.
Prizes will go to the winners of each group and they will be entered into the Central Lancashire All Star 3-on-3 final on Saturday August 13 at Worden Sports College, Westfield Drive, Leyland.
Training sessions will also be held for those wanting to try basketball from Monday until Thursday August 18 at Pool House Recreation Zone, Kidsgrove, Tanterton, on Mondays, Moor Park, Garstang Road, Preston, on Tuesdays, Moor Nook Youth and Community Centre, Burholme Road, Preston, on Wednesdays and Hartington Road Recreation Zone, Preston, on Thursdays.
All sessions take place between 7pm and 8pm.
