EX-LANCASTER Super League darter Nick Collyer will be remembered in the style he would have liked best at a charity event next month.
The Lancaster, Morecambe, Skerton and Lune Valley Super League teams will go head-to-head on the dartboard on Sunday, August 21, while the best snooker players from Lancaster and Morecambe will also play each other.
All money raised will go to Nick's family, who are still stunned after his death earlier this year.
There will be raffles and auctions and organiser Mick Hoyle says: "I hope a lot of people turn out because Nick was a good lad and well liked."
Anyone wanting to donate a prize for auction can drop it off at Squires, or with Matt Donlan at the Citizen offices, unit 4, Victoria Court, Penny Street, Lancaster.
