A SHOP worker is getting on her bike for the biggest physical test of her life - all in the name of charity.
Anne-Marie Jones, who works in the Spar shop on Lancaster's Dumbarton Road, will cycle from Whitehaven to Sunderland in just three days for the 'Wheels for All' charity.
The 140-mile ride will take three days from July 31 and aims to raise £3,000 towards setting up a safe cycling centre for people with physical or learning disabilities at Salt Ayre sports centre.
Anne-Marie, who is one of a team of seven riders taking up the challenge, says: "This is a small charity so every penny will make a big difference. And it is a particularly big challenge for me because six months ago I had not even been on a bike for more than two years.
