Blackpool head to sunny North Lancashire later this week for a double header against non-league opposition.
The Seasiders take a side to conference national outfit Morecambe on Friday night, before sending a team to face Lancaster City on Saturday afternoon.
Christie Park has not always been a happy hunting ground for Blackpool - the last time they faced Morecambe in a pre-season game a second-string side went down 5-0 at the hands of the Shrimps.
The Seasiders are still looking to complete a permanent deal for Accrington Stanley winger, Rory Prendegast, while former trialist keeper, Bertrand Bossu, has signed a one-year contract with Darlington.
That apart, it's all quiet on the transfer front - to the alarm of some supports.
Colin Hendry's two signings this summer, John Doolan and Scott Vernon, certainly have plenty to offer, but with a number of front-line players departing Bloomfield Road since the end of last season, more arrivals are anticipated before the big kick-off, just two weeks on Saturday.
Blackpool's Scottish tour ended with two narrow defeats last week, with the Seasiders going down 2-1 at Ross County despite taking an early lead through Keith Southern, then losing by a solitary goal at top flight side, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
