I THINK that the Your Letters section is being very unfair to a certain manager at Blackburn Council and also his coleagues.
Your front page article (July 7) and then subsequent editions appear to be banging on about the same thing.
So what? A group of people went to London to watch someone get an award.
This doesn't make them criminals and certainly does not warrant you slapping their photographs all over your paper.
It's a pity you did not make such a big deal when one of our councillors, Dorothy Walsh (Higher Croft Ward) went to London for an awards ceremony but a week later.
Seems to me that your reporting is "jolly unfair" and to be honest, in my opinion I feel that Mr Patel and his team are being victimised via your newspaper.
MR M MARTIN, Douglas Place, Blackburn.
