I AM a volunteer at Cancer Research on Northgate, Blackburn.
The sale of bric-a-brac that is donated helps towards research.
Our problem is the manageress is having to take home the bric-a-brac and wash it.
I wonder if there is anyone out there who is having their kitchen renovated and would like to donate their old dishwasher so we could do the washing on the premises.
Also we have toys and other items that need washing so we would welcome a washing machine.
There may even be a retailer out there with a damaged machine that they would like to donate and maybe a plumber who would be prepared to install the machines for us and someone with a van to transport the items.
If anyone can help us out with any of these things, would they please contact Maureen or Lisa on 01254 672048.
