Youngster Danyal Butt was voted player of the year for Colne Clarets Under 10s.
Danyal was presented with his Award at Turf Moor, Burnley by the legendary Jimmy McILroy who in the eyes of the vast majority of Claret and Blue fans is recognised as the greatest Burnley Player ever.
Danyal has only been playing football for two years and has already helped his team to win several trophies.
He scored the winning Penalty after extra time to win a Youth Tournament against Accrington Stanley's Academy.
His team have just won the Warburton's Under 10 Championship beating Huncoat in the final.
What is even more remarkable about Danyal's success is that he suffers from asthma and requires regular medication.
When Danyal joined the Clarets Under 10 team he did not know a single person in his School or in the team.
His Manager had nothing but praise for him and feels he has all the attributes to make a name for himself in the future.
Danyals father Sajad captained Paak United in the seventies and eighties and himself played at a Semi Professional level for Lancaster City.
