DEAR MASSI, My exams are coming up and I don't care how well I do.
It is the second year of my A-levels and although I want to do well it doesnt matter because nobody cares. My mum still wants me to do all the work in the house and doesnt listen to me.
My dad tries telling her this is an important year for me and I cant do two things at once all the time. But my mum doesnt listen to him. My brother had his exams last year and he got waited on hand on foot by my mum.
It is just not fair and I dont think it should be like this.
One of my friends gets all the help from her parents.
Even if I get 5 As it won't matter because nobody will see what I have had to go through.

MASSI SAYS,
I get quite a few letters at this time of year from female students who wish their family would support them more.
It can be frustrating as there is different set of rules for the guys.
Whilst the actrions of your mum are questionable at least your father is supporting you. His support is important.
Despite how bad you may feel remember one thing that you are doing this for yourself and nobody else. Stay strong and good luck.
