Blackpool striker, Keigan Parker, has pledged his future to the club after agreeing a new contract.
The two year deal, with a further year's option, means the diminutive Scottish striker, currently on tour with his team-mates in his native land, could be at Bloomfield Road until 2008.
One player who will not be joining Blackpool is 6ft 7ins goalkeeper, Bertrand Bossu. The former Gillingham giant did not head to RAF Kinloss with his team-mates and a move for the Frenchman has now been put on hold.
Blackpool started their pre-season build up in impressive style, beating local Highland League outfit, Keith FC, 5-1. Colin Hendry made a surprise cameo appearance for his home town side (in which time they scored their solitary goal) but saw his Blackpool charges turn on the style.
A 'first half' XI featuring trialist wingers Rory Prendegast and Simon Baldry was ahead after 30 seconds through Matt Blinkhorn, who later added a second. Prendegast completed an impressive debut with a goal of his own before Keith pulled one back.
After the break, Scott Vernon added a fourth while fellow new signing, John Doolan, set up the fifth for Ciaran Donnelly.
The Seasiders were due to take on Scottish first division club Ross County last night (Wednesday) and will round off their tour of the Highlands with a game against top flight outfit, Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
