ASTLEY & Tyldesley Road Runners sent 15 runners to the recent Chorley 4 Miler.
Derek Chisnall, 29 mins 30, and Brenda Wane, 35mins 5 secs, both made their debut for the club. Derek came in 122nd and Brenda a respectable fifth in her catagory and 162nd overall.
Gary Stevens continued his recent improvement by knocking over 25 seconds off his PB to clock a time of 23.57 just beaten by Mark Riches 23.45 and Brian Lucas 23.50.
Craig Bradbury 24.35, Dave Potter 24.42, Paul Butler 26.34, Steve White 26.48, Nick Hurst 28.33 and Gareth Williams 28.57 all produced course personal bests.
In the ladies section Kate Buckley ran another PB in 30.31, Susan Mitchenson 32.00, Cheryl Lucas 33.55 and Lynne Dawson 36.49 completed the line up.
