A JOBS boost at the former Leyland Daf site is set to bring 150 jobs to the area.

The ARM Group is moving into the Lancaster House offices on the site which is being transformed into the Lancashire Enterprises Business Park.

The firm, which has just won a £100 million order from British Telecom, will move onto the site early in the new year. County council leader Louise Ellman said: "ARM is one of Britain's leading utilities contractors and Lancaster House will be an ideal headquarters building".

"The company looked extensively at property sites throughout the North West before deciding that the business park offered the best facilities."

Lancashire Enterprises bought the business park in June last year from the receivers of the collapsed Leyland Daf group.
