A THREE-YEAR-OLD boy was seriously earlier injured this week after being dragged under the wheels of his dad's car.
The youngster, who hasn't been named, was with his father at Preston Sheds, Crook Street, when he sneaked off into the car park and started the engine of the car. His father heard the noise and rushed outside, but by the time he got to the car it had rolled back and reversed over the little boy.
He was taken by ambulance to Booth Hall Childrens' Hospital in Manchester where he underwent emergency surgery. His condition on Tuesday was very poorly but stable.
