AFTER reading about headmaster Mike Rothwell's problem with cuts in the water supply to Belthorn Primary School (LET, January 15), I was tempted to give him a ring and tell him to complain to Ofwat.

But he may have done this already and found it to be a very poor watchdog.

Mr Paul Holt, territory manager of North West Water, said they were embarrassed by the situation.

I wonder if he or NWW boss Sir Desmond Pitcher is as embarrassed when they get the grossly-inflated salaries.
