A GUTSY display by Chorley wrecked Boston's hopes of staging a Lincolnshire derby against Gainsborough in the second round of the FA Umbro Trophy.
In extremely testing conditions the Magpies showed great character to come from behind and deservedly claim a place in the last 32.
Boston snatched the lead on 57 minutes when Chris Cook volleyed past Simon Marsh from close range, but within four minutes Chorley were level. Kenny Myers' cross was nodded on by Brian Ross for Lee Trundle to steal in and head home at the far post.
Chorley's winner came on 70 minutes through Dave McKearney.
Boston piled forward to try to save the game but Chorley, splendidly marshalled at the back by man of the match Andy Thorpe, gave nothing away in a tense finale.
