WE HEAR so much these days about how reasonable and electable new Labour is under Tony Blair.
However, in reality it is all just a charade to fool the electorate. The majority of Labour MPs are just as Left-wing as they used to be, but it is hidden from the public.
A typical example is the Pendle MP, Gordon Prentice, who portrays himself as a moderate.
Yet, on December 2 he opened a Morning Star bazaar. For those who don't know, the Morning Star is a Communist-supporting newspaper.
So Mr Prentice was raising funds for a Communist-supporting newspaper. Mr Prentice opened a similar event the previous year on December 2 1994.
Mr Blair has been informed of Mr Prentice's support for the Morning Star bazaar, but did not even have the manners to acknowledge the correspondence.
So one can only assume that Mr Blair approves of such associations and activities taking place.
New Labour is no different from old Labour. It's just a cosmetic exercise to fool the British people.
