IN REPLY to his criticism of the libraries in Blackburn I am disgusted by the comments of J R Uttley regarding how the staff dress, and their holidays at Christmas (Letters, January 8).
Everyone is entitled to bank holidays and how the staff dress is irrelevant.
I would suggest he visits Darwen Library, where he will be met by friendly and courteous staff - something which is more important than how a person dresses.
