THIS deceitful government pretends to offer us a choice in education between centres of excellence (grant-maintained) and underfunded sink schools for druggies, drop outs and drongos.
Harriet Harman is just a sensible mum doing the best she can for her child. Everyone should boycott the Tory cash-starved schools for the intellectually disadvantaged which have been left with the local education authorities.
The same deceit has been practised on the home owners in negative equity. They have forecast an upturn in house prices for the last six years when prices should have moved with inflation, increasing by 20 per cent.
That was just trickery to prevent householders turning in their keys to the building society or bank. The truth is that they have schemed to keep house prices low as an anti-inflationary measure, forcing borrowers to get unsecured loans at 16 per cent or more instead of remortgaging and getting the same money at eight per cent.
