PRESTON-based Eric Wright Construction has been awarded a contract in excess of £ million by Milliken Industrials Limited to provide approximately 18,215 sq. ft. of new warehouse accommodation at their Wellington Plant in Bury.
The project follows a previous Milliken Industrials contract to Eric Wright Construction - worth more than £1 million -- for the provision of new weave room earlier this year.
American-owned Milliken is one of the world's leading textile research organisations, manufacturing all types of textiles from apparel and industrial fabrics through to carpets.
The Wellington Plant in Bury was the company's first manufacturing base to be set up outside the USA.
Says John Barnsley, Commercial Director of Eric Wright Construction, "The extension is a tremendous boost for them and we are extremely pleased to have been awarded the contract."
