SINCE my remarks (Letters, January 12) on how the proceeds of the National Lottery should be allocated, many people have told me they agree with what I said British lottery money should be spent on.

But now, we see that the lottery's charity board is about to send £30 million of our money abroad.

This must not happen. It must be halted immediately. This is British lottery money and must stay British.

We also saw that nearly £3 million of lottery cash was once again presented to the theatre. At the same time, we also saw the need for intensive care units for children and adults, which, according to TV reports, each take £80,000 to set up.

I'm sure millions of people believe that we should use this £30 million destined for overseas to build and equip care units in this country.

Let's show these people that we don't agree with the way the lottery is being run and that they should be sacked.
