BURGLARS have robbed a young disabled woman of the joy of music.
Intruders in Victoria Street, Oswaldtwistle, fled with 600 compact discs worth £6,000.
Karen Johnston, 26, who suffers from epilepsy, lives with her boyfriend, Nigel Donlon, 29.
Karen said: "I'm at home all day and listening to music is my pleasure."
Burglars broke into their home early on Saturday afternoon when Karen and Nigel, who works at Dunlop Footwear, in Blackburn,were out shopping.
The discs, by various artistes and groups, were in black plastic cases.
The £6,500 haul also included 28 music video tapes, a Figaro gold link bracelet, a gents Sekonda watch and two jackets.
