REBUILD plans are being drawn-up for fire-hit Pennington FC.
The Howe Bridge-based club which caters for two senior and three junior teams is embarking on a fund-raising drive to repair fire and vandal damage.
And two senior Atherton soccer clubs have stepped-in with offers of help until the Pennington club house can be rebuilt.
"We're grateful to Atherton LR and Atherton Collieries who have offered us use of facilities at Crilly Park and Alder House," said Pennington's football secretary Jimmy Bowers.
Now the club has launched the Pennington FC Fire Appeal Fund and any donations can be sent to trustee Ernie Ackers, c/o 16 Hope Fold Avenue, Atherton.
Already a prize draw has been organised with 5,000 tickets on offer at £1 apiece with first prize worth £1,000, half that to the runner-up, £250 for third, three at £100, four at £50, six at £25 and five £10 prizes.
