TWO bogus officials conned their way into a partially sighted pensioner's home last week.
The men, who claimed they were from the waterboard, stole a small quantity of cash from the 80-year-old woman's house in London Road, Preston.
Sgt Andy Dickinson, of Preston CID, warned: "Before letting anyone into your home make sure you do check their identity."
One of the men was in his late 40s, stockily built, wearing a multi-coloured jumper. The other man was of slim build and in his 20s.
Call Preston CID on 01772-203203 with information.
