ARE you a vintage car buff? If so, your help is urgently needed to brighten up Leyland's centenary celebrations.
The British Commercial Museum needs volunteers to help restore their historic and vintage cars and buses.
Roger Bullough, the museum's manager, is hoping to spruce up their prototype double decker bus in time for the celebrations in June.
He said: "In the museum store we have some wonderful vehicles which have been laid aside for restoration. I would like to see some of them on display."
Anyone with mechanical, general engineering, body-building, sheet metal work, auto electrical, upholstery or coach painting experience will be welcome. Enthusiastic helpers with no previous experience can also apply. Call 01772 451011 for details.
