SWIMMERS from the Atherton club just missed out on a century of points in their first team outing of the 1996 season.
But they were still good enough for second place at Bury Annual Invitation Gala, youngsters from five clubs participating, and the 11/12-Year girls and boys teams won all their races.
Rebecca Grime, Rhian Jackson, Holly Davies, James Gendall, Geoffrey Earle and Daniel Kings swam out of age for some of their races, performing well against older swimmers.
Many in the 9/10-Year team were representing the club for the first time in an inter-club meet.
Atherton retained the overall Boys Trophy.
