A PUB landlord has organised a mini band aid concert to send a rape victim and her family on a holiday of a lifetime.
Sean Finn, of the Lamb Hotel, Church Street, Preston said he was sickened to hear how 12-year-old girl had been brutally raped two weeks ago, not far from his pub.
He has rallied bands from across the county to play a 12-hour gig to raise cash for the victim and her family.
Sean, who has a young daughter, said: "It really hits home when something like this happens right on your doorstep. It could quite easily have been my child."
He added: "I have spoken to the victim's family. They are obviously still very upset. They haven't been on holiday for years.
"I'm hoping that we will get plenty of support to give them a holiday of a lifetime."
Eight bands have already offered to take part in the Baby Band Aid; Reckless, Tower Struck Down, North, Disciples, The Healers, Lizzy Boys, Tripitaka and Rubian. Businesses are also being urged to donate prizes for a raffle. Call Sean on 254478
