WHAT A cheek! Camelot fat cats, with an estimated £65 million profits over the past year, have come up fail-safe system to ensure they never lose out.

From the end of this month they're reducing the £10 for three numbers payout if too many people win on one week.

Prize money will be divided between all winners if too many people pick the right numbers.

Which means punters could be left with just a few coppers if three popular numbers come up.

Camelot claims the chances of this happening are "unlikely" but at the same time, it's obviously not prepared to take the risk of losing for even one week - unlike the millions of people who gamble their hard-earned cash.

Lets get this in perspective. Camelot is making money on the backs of gamblers - just like the bookies.

But there would be a public outcry if bookies suddenly declared they were paying out less because too many people backed the winner of the Grand National.

We think that's unfair. Camelot is a big business with big profits at stake. It should be prepared to take a gamble - just like the rest of us.
